Class B or Class B with E restriction

Equipment: 31,000 pound single axle dump truck with full air brakes and 6-speed synchronized manual transmission. This class is a 4-day course which includes training for the pre-trip inspection, skills test and road test. The truck will be used at the end of the course to take your test. An automatic truck is also available for those wishing to get a Class B with E restriction. An E restriction limits the driver to only vehicles with automatic transmissions.

Cost is $1050 plus a $150 fuel surcharge and a $100 examiner fee which must be paid in cash. In the event of a failure, the cost for retraining is $600 per day plus the fuel surcharge.

Great class. Larry is a great instructor. They definitely get you ready for your test. They get you ready in 1 week what takes other schools 6 weeks. I would suggest if your thinking about getting your cdl to come to CDL Assist.

My experience with CDL Assist was very positive.  The information provided before the in person classes was very helpful, but only if you take the time to learn it.  Read their website closely…it is fast paced and intended for those people with some trucking skills. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Coming into this course knowing it was only a 4 day program, I was nervous. They have great instructors though and they were able to teach the program very well. The instructors are all cool and make the program fun. Cdl assist was absolutely incredible. My instructor was Ron and he normally doesn't teach a class  because he's a manager there. Ron was very patient and when I was struggling he was able to help get me through the area I struggled in and made everything super easy to remember. This is seriously the place to go.
