Five tractor trailers are available for this class. All trucks are equipped with full air brakes, 10- speed manual unsynchronized transmissions and flat bed trailers. This class is a 5-day course which includes training for the pre-trip inspection, skills test and road test. The truck and trailer will be used at the end of the course on the fifth day to take your test. The cost is $1500 plus a $150 fuel surcharge and the $100 examiner fee which must be paid in cash. In the event of a failure, the cost for truck and trailer rental for retraining is $900 a day minus $100 per test successfully completed plus $50 fuel surcharge.

Anyone using CDL Assist for skills training must take his ELDT theory courses through CDL Assist or pay a $100 document processing fee.
*Please be aware that any student that has enrolled in CDL Assist LLC, rented CDL Assist LLC equipment, or been trained by Fred Hart is ineligible to utilize him as a state third party CDL examiner.
Cody Dutton03/05/2024Great class. Larry is a great instructor. They definitely get you ready for your test. They get you ready in 1 week what takes other schools 6 weeks. I would suggest if your thinking about getting your cdl to come to CDL Assist.

Read their website closely…it is fast paced and intended for those people with some trucking skills. The instructors are willing and able to teach you the maneuvers you need to know to obtain your CDL. Nice family business. Thanks for the “CDL Assist”

They have great instructors though and they were able to teach the program very well. The instructors are all cool and make the program fun. Ron was very patient and when I was struggling he was able to help get me through the area I struggled in and made everything super easy to remember. This is seriously the place to go. It's fast pace and you must be willing to take in every word they tell you. Be ready to learn and you will succeed.
